The National Celebrations Commission Announces Upcoming Press Briefing PDF Print E-mail

The Re–Constituted National Celebrations Commission is pleased to announce an upcoming Press Briefing scheduled for Wednesday May 19th at 10 a.m. at the House of Culture, in Belize City.

The National Celebrations Commission formerly known as the September Celebrations Committee is responsible for the organizing of activities that celebrate all National Holidays. The Commission will work closely with the existing organizing bodies to further enhance the promotion and overall organization of these events. The NCC is chaired by the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Culture and co-chaired by the President of the National Institute of Culture and History and its Secretariat resides at the NICH.

The purpose of this press briefing is to share details on the plans being formalized to build momentum with the approaching September Celebrations and will highlight what promises to make this year's September's Celebrations a more festive one.
